I have a really high water bill this month and wanted to know if you could offer some advice. I don’t see any leaks in my home and want to see if I can determine the problem before calling a plummer.

Hi Theo:
If your water bill is high, then you have a leak somewhere either inside or outside of your home. If you do not notice any leaks coming from fixtures (faucets, toilets) then it is possible that you have a leak under the ground which would require a leak detection service that is typically performed by a plumber. A slab leak repair would be needed if a leak is located under the foundation.
There are a few other ways to determine the source of a leak.  Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions on our leak detection Las Vegas page for instructions on locating the leak yourself.  Best of luck!
